Laura Ritchie
Laura is a trauma-informed therapist with 13 years of experience walking alongside children, teens, and adults as they process pain, build resilience, and rediscover their sense of safety and self-worth.
Born and raised in Wichita Falls, Laura earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of North Texas in 2009 and her Master of Education in Counseling from the University of Houston in 2012. Since then, she has supported clients in a wide range of settings, including advocacy centers, school-based programs, and private practice.
Laura is trained in several evidence-based approaches including:

Her specialties include trauma, anxiety, OCD, depression, and grief. She has a unique ability to “dig to the root,” helping clients heal from the inside out. Whether she’s working with a young child or an adult, Laura creates a space that feels safe, validating, and deeply human.
Outside the office, Laura enjoys traveling, reading, and spending time with her husband and their four kids. She’s passionate about connection, community, and the power of choosing to heal.
